Documents and Smart Bites

The Documents tab is the file list. It appears when the collection has documents.

Views and filters

Detailed, navigator, and activity change how the list is drawn. Status, field, value, and document filters limit which files you see. Expanding a document shows extracted values and the groups of paragraphs by role. A paragraph ordinal is the position in that document. A Smart Bite id is the stored passage id. A preview is a short clip. Exact source text is the passage itself. If the highlight has no location, the evidence location is missing. Do not treat the preview as the source.

Into Lineage

From a document you can open Lineage for that document. The tab in the URL is downstream. Older links that say lineage are normalized to that tab. The investigation starts from the document you chose. It does not silently search the whole workspace.
